Bug Description

New to Linux other than making a few smoothwalls. See my novel on bug # 38591 . It's nasty and learns and adapts. It d/l's 250+ tar.gz and makes 1270+ files that include a script for most any problem it encounters. I'm running on the Kubuntu 9.10 Live CD (checksum good) and 2 gb ram - no hdd. It flashed the bios (and everything else it could get, even my cell phone via the Blue Tooth charging in a usb port) and won't allow anything in that will harm it as it loads first with the bios . I don't know Linux commands but am learning fast. It has typically booted showing a "Wwindows Network" which is actually a hard to reach (for me) storage area and it seems to be running under a "Media Build" using x-org server. I've been fighting this since 10/25 on daily/nightly (sleeping in the chair) basis and really need help - this is over my head. I know I'm not the only one as I've seen some of the other bugs reports and I expect this semi-intelligent "virus" to spread quickly if the Unix, Linux and windows sharpshooters don't jump on this before it starts spreading (and learning) exponentially. On this crash, I had opened the "zeroconf" network and tried to have it list the hidden folders. Anyone with verifiable credentials is welcome to take a look, just know that it will transfer immediately.
Dolphin1.3, KDE 4.3.2

I'm sorry, but this is a bug tracker for bugs in Ubuntu and its derivatives only. If you need support you could try the Ubuntu Forums at <http://www.ubuntuforums.org/>, although with your problems I would advise to ask for professional help, maybe go to the computer shop.

I'm marking this bug as Invalid as it is no bug. If you do find a bug in Ubuntu/Kubuntu, please open a new report. Thanks!
