inkscape 0.47 aqua: menus do not display sub-menus

The "Datei" (file) menu doesnt contain "neues Fenster" (new window, new document). Happens in English, French, Nederlands and some other languages as well.

You can test whether it is a translation issue by changing the user interface language in 'Datei > Inkscape-Einstellungen > Benutzeroberfläche > Sprache' to 'Englisch' and restart Inkscape.

OTOH 'Neues Fenster' or 'New Window' did not exist in 0.46 and does not exist in 0.47 on OS X 10.5.8.
In Inkscape 0.47 there is
a) 'Datei > Neu' or 'File > New' - the top entry of the file menu - which lists all available templates, and only 'default' if no templates are found
b) 'Ansicht > Fenster Duplizieren' or 'View > Duplicate Window' to open a separate window with the same document.

I think this bug is upstream with the ported (native) version of GTK+ (aka 'Aqua') and not in Inkscape itself. Please read the thread in inkscape-devel <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.graphics.inkscape.devel/30473/focus=30482> about the earlier tests with Inkscape 0.47pre0 built with the native GTK libraries on OS X Leopard and the issues reported by JiHO.

The problem seems to be that *none* of the menu entries with submenus are displayed in the top menu bar for Inkscape. I have reproduced this with the native build of 0.47pre0 on OS X 10.5.8.

I do confirm that none of the menu entries with submenues are existing in my version. So this is a well-known issue.
