no apps will install or updates or downloads

No matter where I try to update packages or install anything all I get are error messages saying it's missing final newline...I can't download anything or even use the stuff on the computer for that matter...please help

here's what it does on everything I try to update or install....

Not exactly sure if this is synaptic or something lower level than that.

Please run the following command in the terminal: 'sudo apt-get clean'. I don't know if this will solve your problem or not, but it may help to clear out your cache and then try running synaptic again.
