Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Since I upgraded to Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 (lsb_release shows Ubuntu 8.04.2), my flash player stopped working. I have tried re-installing flashplugin-
However, after removing it and running sudo apt-get install flashplugin-

The Flash plugin is NOT installed.
Note that, I did run sudo apt-get update before running this install command. So, it should have the right URL.
Also, I could not view flash in Firefox even when flashplugin-nonfree was installed and I had the .so files in /usr/lib/
Even after removing flashplugin-

libflashplayer.so mplayerplug-
libjavaplugin.so mplayerplug-
mozplugger.so mplayerplug-
At the very least, this HTTP 404 should be fixed.
