Misleading login hint

The login form on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UserPreferences says
"(Use your Launchpad login or create an account.)"

This slightly incorrect: user is required to fill his email address which he/she used during registration.

As sabdfl pointed on irc, the message should say:
"(Use your email address and Launchpad password or create a new account.)"

An idea: when authentization fails, script could test if login name looks like email address and print hint if it is not email-like.

Spiv, there have been a number of people confused by the wiki login
process. Perhaps it would help if we explicitly tell people to login
using their email address? Could you review the signup-and-login process
and see if we can make any improvements now that the basics are in
place? Mark

Same prob here - wanted to contribute an article to the wiki but had three password resets before i bothered searching and found this bug.

Changing the text to be correct, rather than incorrect, to a bug tat stops people contributing, should be a simple fix.

Somewhat surprised it's taken 2 months to get around to this, being a wiki and all.

Login using your Launchpad password and email address.

I've sent a request to the admins with a patch to change the text, and also to change the label on the field from "Name" to "E-mail address", to be consistent with the Launchpad login form.
