Hi Thelasko!
It's an odd issue :O
Gufw is only a GUI for ufw. I don't undertand this cause :$
Can you try with this new version for Jaunty (only Jaunty!):
http://launchpad.net/gui-ufw/main/9.04/+download/gufw_9.04.0-all.deb

In other way, did you format from the bug #307590?

Best regards ;)

I installed the new version and no luck. I really don't know what is going on. It's very strange and frustrating.

Hi!
Thelasko, did you try to format and reinstall Ubuntu (maybe in other partition?).
Best regards.

This is my primary computer and it's not used for that kind of experimental use.

Hi, can you attach the output of "sudo ufw status" and "sudo iptables -L" before and after opening Gufw? (ie, when it mail doesn't work, and when it works).

I also just added the 465 and 995 rules in an effort to resolve this issue. It didn't work.

I figured it out. This is an issue with Moblock. If moblock is closed without stopping it, these issues occur.
