Bug Description

There is now a package in Debian, so please sync it from unstable to universe.

Mupen64Plus is a plugin-based N64 emulator for Linux which is capable of accurately playing many games. Included are four MIPS R4300 CPU emulators, with dynamic recompilers for 32-bit x86 and 64-bit amd64 systems, and necessary plugins for audio, graphical rendering (RDP), signal co-processor (RSP), and input. There are 3 OpenGL video plugins included: glN64, RiceVideoLinux, and Glide64.

hi there, i have made a package which could be a start here. see https://launchpad.net/~bojo42/+archive/ppa/+sourcepub/535063/+listing-archive-extra

but this is a single binary package that goes for the default compile options, after doing it this way i think we should do a multi binary package, meaning we should also provide the qt gui for our kde lovers. as upstream defaults to gtk we could just make two rivaling packages named mupen64plus and mupen64plus-qt.

declined for older releases, we can't add new packages to these (only via backports, but therefore we need mupen64plus for it).
