Bug Description

I dont know this is a bug or not.

The problem was in Thai keyboard layout "TIS-820.2538".

When I type an upper or lower vowel character in that keyboard layout the followed character not show and has a "beep" sound from internal speaker.

and yes I do installed "THAI" Language Support but did not enable "support to enter complex characters".

What applications this bug was occurred?

Should try typing Thai in various editors/applications, like;
-gedit
-Openoffice.org suite
-mousepad
-SCIM

and any applications that can be received Thai input.

Hi

Almost all S/W gedit, terminal, OO, didn't try SCIM
when ever I type a lower vowel or upper vowel the next character adn those
vowel character disaapear.
eg. "นั้น" if I type that in Intrepid it will show only "น" with three beep
sound.

OK. I'll check my currents version tomorrow. but I do update almost every
day.

I've got these problem in very installed intrepid computers also in qemu
too.

Hi,

I have also this problem since an update of Intrepid version.
This problem is reproducible on two computers that have Intrepid installed and appears in all the following software :

- gedit
- openoffice
- pidgin

My libraries version are actually :

libthai-data 0.1.9-4 Data files for Thai language support library
libthai0 0.1.9-4 Thai language support library
ttf-thai-tlwg 1:0.4.10-2 Thai fonts in TrueType format
