Suggestions for translation don't shows "representing" space characters

Bug Description
I tried to add a new suggestion for a german translation with leading space characters in some lines. So that my translation is similar to the english one.
For this case there is an information in the bottom of the english text:
[picture for newline] represents a line break. Start a new line in the equivalent position in the translation.
[picture for space character] represents a space character. Enter a space in the equivalent position in the translation.
The bug is that I can't see any pictures for the leading space characters in my suggestion. This should be fixed so that everybody can see that also the translation contain all the leading/trailing spaces.
(It works correctly for line breaks!)

This should probably get some higher importance because it leads to people "correcting" seemingly wrong suggestions which are already completely correct (regarding special characters).
