According to comment #3 at bug #239447 Kazahakase 5.4 from Ubuntu's developmental branch does not have this bug. Maybe someone should request hardy-backport?

Added backport request.
Please remove both nominations as they are not needed. Hardy backports takes care of 8.04 and intrepid is still early in devel and would need this update in archives before backport can happen.

This is a serious regression in hardy. It should be attempted to be fixed via SRU. Unsubscribing backports and subscribing MOTU SRU.

I got the same problem as mentionned in the first message.

I wanted to go into the kazehakase preferences, but as soon as I click 'Edit menu -> preferences', the software crashes. I launched it in command-line and I get this error message from the gnome-terminal :

user@eeepc:~$ kazehakase

(kazehakase:6725): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_store_get_value: assertion `VALID_ITER (iter, tree_store)' failed

(kazehakase:6725): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.16.6/gobject/gtype.c:3362: type id `0' is invalid

(kazehakase:6725): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: can't peek value table for type `<invalid>' which is not currently referenced
Erreur de segmentation

It seems to be a segmentation error.

It's on ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron i386 French.
