[ooo-build] [hardy] Spellcheck will only check a paragraph and hot the whole document

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Since upgrading to the beta of 8.04, when checking the spelling of a whole open office document, spellcheck will only check a paragraph and not the entire document, even when you have asked it to search from the beginning of the document. This didn't happen before the upgrade.

Cheers,
Claire

Yes, I can reproduce this problem as well on Hardy. I am looking into where to report this bug (upstream/ooo-build) to try to get this problem corrected ASAP.

Thanks,

Chris Cheney

Verified it is only in ooo-build version and found the Novell (ooo-build) bug about it. It is already on their blockers list so hopefully will be fixed very soon. I need to do another upload of OOo today before my trip to Prague for GoOOCon but it looks like this bug probably won't be fixed today. You can temporarily work around the problem by enabling auto spellcheck which underlines mispellled words in red.

This bug appears to be fixed in ooo-build now, but I don't have the time to test it immediately. I will verify it is corrected when I do the next upload around Apr 14.

Thanks,

Chris Cheney

Just wanted to add a "me too" on this. It's quite annoying.

Is there any way I can help test this out?

Not at the moment, once I upload the 'fixed' version testing it would be helpful. I am currently ~ 8000km away from home so I am unable to do an upload for a couple more days.
