Sometimes keyboard events are lost when typing quickly. Less frequently, extra key strokes are added when typing (eg multiple d's when only typed it once).

Up to date 64bit hardy host with 32bit dapper through hardy guests (vmdk disk).

This can most readily be seen at the password prompt of the gdm login screen on ubuntu guests.

This seems to be exacerbated by sudo, whereas a regular terminal or gnome-terminal is not too terribly bad.

This bug was fixed in the package gtk-vnc - 0.3.4-0ubuntu1

---------------
gtk-vnc (0.3.4-0ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (FFe: LP: #199054).
    - Dropped ext_key_event.diff (now in upstream proper).
  * Fix various keyboard and focus anomalies (LP: #193427, #193417, #193443).
  * Update Maintainer: field to reflect promotion to main.
