Hi there
Today's upgrade seems to fix this issue for me at least, could anyone else confirm this please?

python-central (0.5.50ubuntu7) hardy; urgency=low

  * On upgrade, properly remove byte-code files not anymore in the
    new version of the package.

Changed in python-central:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Confirmed

Yes. However, I get this: "Your system is up-to-date. It is unknown when
the package information was updated last. Please try clicking on the
'Check' button to update the information."

Clicking on the check button doesn't update the information. I've tried
multiple times. Tried sudo apt-get update and sudo aptitude update.

Hi James
Thanks for the confirmation, marking as fix-released then, you can check if have the current version of the package by executing the following command:

dpkg -l python-central

maybe your system is really up-to-date or your mirror doesn't sync the changes yet.

Changed in python-central:
status: Confirmed → Fix Released
