Why do we need a US specific version of Esperanto? I don't see it explained here in the bug report. Can somebody explain me?

And should we make more locale versions of Esperanto?

A locale needs to specify _some_ convention for time/money formatting,
paper format, and so on. A locale is much more than just a language,
so you need to write it for a particular country/region.
