Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I am using Ubuntu Hardy. I just updated Nautilus to 2.21.6 and now all my folders have lost their custom icons and show the default folder icon. Also, I can't set custom icons for them anymore.

Note how the icon part of the properties dialogue is no longer a clickable icon.

I can confirm this w/ Nautilus 2.21.6 on Hardy. This effects desktop files as well. Right click on either a folder or desktop file and select properties. The icon in the properties window is no longer clickable, as shown in the above users post. The expected behavior would be for the icon to be clicked and bring up a dialog to change the icon to a custom one.

Still present here as well. The fix for bug #185769 does not resolve this issue.

I've updated form gutsy and it not lost the icon conifiguration, but when I right click an icon on the desktop and select "Properties", I used to be able to click the icon (it was a button) and be able to select custom icon for the folder or launcher. Now the icon in the properties dialog is unclickable.
