(French translation) Fslint package description

I would like to report a bad translation in the description of the “fslint” package.

Here are the outputs of "apt-cache show", in French, then in English:

The part concerned which is incorrectly translated in this sentence, is, in English:
“FSlint is a toolkit to clean filesystem lint.”

in French:
“ Fslint est une boîte à outils pour nettoyer la charpie du
système de fichiers.”

This word "charpie" makes no sense in French in this context.

Hence this is the translation I will suggest, based on the explanations of the page

système.»

(litterally, "Fslint is a toolbox to clean unwanted leftovers from the files in the
system").

for the next package version number?

Hello Gunnar,

I read «anomalités» which imo is still not the right idea behind "software lint" because
"anomalités" translates to "abnormalities".

I prefer "leftovers", or "unwanted leftovers", which is what I have translated it to with
the word in French : «des restes indésirables». Unneeded leftovers might be a good way
also to describe it. What about asking other members of the Debian and Ubuntu communities?

Please note that the translation I linked to is not my suggestion, but simply what's currently in the Debian system, and which sooner or later ought to make it to Ubuntu. Probably later, since there seems to be a significant time lag... It's my understanding that the whole system for translating package descriptions is obsolete, and under transition to something else. But they say that you can submit corrections of current translations, at least.

Would you be interested in joining the Ubuntu French translators team?

Hello Gunnar,

thanks for the offer, but I am much too busy, and I contribute with tests or bug reports
once a while when I can and when I find something that triggers my whish to do so.

I can't even get my own todo list down, so I'll pass entering any new contributing group,
even if I'd like to be everywhere! :D

I have given the message on the #debian-facile chan on freenode a little earlier. They
might get in touch with the french debian translation team to ask for advice.
