Bug Description

Windows 10 reproduction:
- Hotkey for "Enable high contrast display mode" has been set to 'h'
- When typing filter keywords the letter 'h' will trigger the hotkey but will not appear in the textbox even though the textbox has full focus.

I'm not sure if this is also applicable to other areas of the program. I don't know if this is an isolated incident and have not yet found a workaround.

I noticed that as soon as one moves the mouspointer over the canvas area the filter looses focus (but is still shown as if it has focus). Is this the root of your problems or does it also happen while your mouse is still above the filter textfield?

It happens at all times. When clicking in the textbox and leaving the mouse
over the textbox, I still can't use the letter that's used for the hotkey.
