Probably same translation issue as reported earlier in

In Inkscape 0.91 as well as in Inkscape 0.92:

- 'Object > Clip' in the Dutch translation is 'Maskerpad':

- 'Object > Mask' in the Dutch translation is 'Masker':

AFAICT the translation as 'Maskerpad' was added in 2008 (bug #219475):

@Kris - any thoughts on this? It's been reported twice now as bug ...
