Looks like a dns issue, try `dpkg-reconfigure maas-dns`

i only have one problem with this, until about 2-3 weeks ago, this started
happening, possible after some updates. i believe that the number of
changes are so many, it is causing/un-stabilizing my metal. and the fixes
take to much time. i would like to limit the amount of updates that this
system makes.

i will post a question on how, on ask. but for now i will try anything.

thanks

i would like to add , that when do a manual deploy as in juju bootstrap, then juju-gui,,etc,etc. i get a perfect system about 75 percent of the time.

there is something not happening with the openstack installer, and the networking. it appears to disconnect or loose comm with the network. and always while updating the landscape packages after downloading the landscape.

basically it down loads the landscape, i get it runs it, then i get a installing updates,,then fatal error..

This is probably due to juju-deployer (the underlying component used to install landscape) is timing out. You mentioned a manual installs works 75% of the time so what happens when it doesn't work?
