Hello, in order to activate your local language, set the variable LANGUAGE, e.g.:

No file at all. It is an environment variable, you should define it from the command line, from a terminal. I indicated the command for you:

export LANGUAGE=el

Hello Felipe.
I tried your command while i had oped Klavaro and while not. Nothing at all.
In menu of Klavaro i cannot set up greek language (it doesn't have that option).
Although it mixes greek and english letters!!!
Any help would be appreciate

You should launch Klavaro from the command line also, from the same terminal where you configured the LANGUAGE variable, have you tried like that?

export LANGUAGE=el
klavaro

Oh, so sorry, just now I figured out what happens. It is a normal thing, because greek translation was added only in release 1.9.9 of Klavaro, that came up with Ubuntu 14. The Greek keyboard is there before because I introduced it a long time ago, just to get attention from some Greek guy who could volunteer to translate it.

So, it will not work in Ubuntu 12, it is a matter of keeping up to date with the newer version, not a bug at all, ok?

Greek keyboard appear in earlier versions, but Greek localization wasn't available yet, what may cause some confusion when using Klavaro in a Greek environment. Keep up to date with the latest version (from Ubuntu 14) and you will see full Greek translation working.

Changed in klavaro (Ubuntu):
