Bug Description

To prevent user interaction with the data sources when "Privacy Mode" is on, instead of making the views insensitive show a section explaining what Privacy Mode is –you can see the included screenshot for details.

This should also explain that some apps don't use system data and keep their own records and users should be aware that they may have to configure additional privacy settings in-app.

Wouldn't it be better to use "lsb_release -i" (or whatever) instead of coding in the operating system name.

Yes, that would make sense. I'll make sure it gets included in the merge
proposal, when it'll be ready.
