receiving mms on Mako fails

Like in bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nuntium/+bug/1336146 ,
today I sent myself some mms messages (a few words and a picture) from 3 different devices to my Ubuntu Touch Mako. I received none.
Devices I sent from were a samsung adroid 4.1 device, an iphone and a nokia N8(symbian) containing different sim cards from different providers on networks in the netherlands.

As I recieve no MMS msges whatsoever, no matter what phone or provider they are sent from, I am thinking this could be the same as :

I will try and talk to Tony Espy to verify
