Hi Jens,

That is very strange. I have not encounter this error before, and don't think any of the others who have tried on OS X 10.9.2 have. Could you maybe post the details that are displayed after clicking on the 'report' button? Does the error repeat if you delete the ~/JHelioviewer folder and re-start JHV?

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Daniel et al,

Attached is the error report. Awfully long, but I hope you guys can make sense of it...
Removing JHelioviewer/ doesn't help, I get the same error.

Cheers,
Jens

Hi,

I just managed to reproduce this error on my Macbook Pro with dual GPU (built-in Intel Iris Pro, details below, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M) after forcing the computer to use the built-in GPU (instead of dynamic switching) with the gfxCardStatus tool (http://gfx.io/).

Now the questions are: What part of the code causes this uncaught exception when using libjogl_desktop.jnilib? And: Does anyone have a clever idea on how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Daniel
