Bug Description
Testing in MetaRecord holds development in 2.6 (from Bug #1284864) the following 3 things are outstanding from this work.
1.Metarecord search does not honour search filters
Further testing in the 2.6 new metarecord holds development in TPAC shows that the 'Group Formats and Edition' does not honour search filters.
eg. When doing a search in the TPAC and using a format filter (eg. Searching using the All Books filter) you get a result list that only includes books (correct). However, if you choose 'Group Formats and Editions', the metarecord browse shows all format types, and when you click though to the individual record browse list, you see all records not just those in the all books filter.
The Group Formats and editions box should honour whatever search filters have been applied to the search.
2. In metarecord holds, the available format list should update the available formats once a pickup location is selected.
In testing the new 2.6 metarecord hold development, when you choose the pickup location on the metarecord hold placement screen, the available formats don't change. However, the available formats should update, once the pickup location is chosen, because depending on hold rules/boundaries, the pickup location can determine if a particular format is available.
3. In metarecord holds, in looking at the hold queue on View Holds, all titles associated with a metarecord show the metarecord hold regardless of whether the actual hold was placed on that format.
eg. I place a MR hold choosing large print or audiobook only as format for a particular title. Now, when I look at the record for that title in regular print format, and choose 'View Holds, I see that a metarecord hold is listed for it (but it should not be, it should only show in the hold queue for the large print and audiobook records).
Expected behaviour:
The metarecord hold in View Holds, should only show for a particular bib record if that format was seleted when placing the MR hold.
Laurie,
Since these are three distinct issues related to metarecords, I think it might be better (and possibly get more attention) if they were filed as three separate bugs.
