For enable pcb in pt_BR i make this:
-get pcb code
-unpack it
-put pt_BR.po and LINGUAS in "pcb/po" directory
-the location of gpcb-menu.res.in is "pcb/src"
-replace the file gpcb-menu.res.in renaming gpcb-menu.res.in.pt_BR to gpcb-menu.res.in
-do the your local compilation of pcb.

Hi Jorge,

I committed the translation file po/pt_BR.po and added pt_BR to po/LINGUAS.

IMHO, the translation of the menu strings has to be done in a different way.

I propose to include these translatable strings in the po/pcb.pot file by means of the gettext macros

(pcb.pot can be created by running "make pcb.pot" from within the po directory).

This has to be investigated more in depth before the remainder of this (patch) tar file can be committed.

Looks like the rest of this patch is resolved by the committed patch from bug#1080567.

Could you test if running "make-C po update-po" results in these translatable strings getting added to pt_BR.po (they do in nl.po).
