This app seems to crash regularly. After the app restarts, it displays fine and tells time like it should. It does not appear to crash while system is up, only on start up and reboot.

This definitely happens every start up or reboot.

I had this happen after waking my computer, unplugging the ethernet cable (no WiFi was turned on) and unplugging the power cable. Not sure what specifically caused it this time but I've noticed it happens a lot.

Hey Charles, could you have a look to that one? It seems a frequent issue in saucy. Thanks!

Is it too early in the development cycle to expect to be able to execute an installation without experiencing errors?

How can a Beta be released in a few days when I get this error at the beginning of a USB install of the amd 64-bit desktop timestamped 2013-09-02 08:17?

1. I could NOT get the CD creator in 13.04 to complete without throwing an error, so I used 12.04.3 to reformat the usb and change it into a bootable device using the iso mentioned above.

2. Booted

3. Selected install Ubuntu

3. Checked the two boxes then OK

4. Waited a short while was greeted with this message

---------------
indicator-datetime (13.10.0+13.10.20130913-0ubuntu1) saucy; urgency=low

  [ Charles Kerr ]
  * Make the EDS planner nonblocking. (LP: #1204532)
  * Minor changes that eliminate unnecessary temporary strings.
  * This change adds a GSettings* arg to the utils functions so that
they don't have to churn through temporary GSettings objects. These
functions are usually called in a loop, causing a lot of GSettings
temporaries, even though the calling code already has an instance
    for that GSettings schema.
  * name says it all; this branch is for improving indicator-datetime
    test coverage.
  * Remove code duplication between timezone-file and timezone-geoclue.
  * Adds a title in the header's action state. (LP: #1223635)

  [ Ted Gould ]
  * Fix GeoClue signal handler to have proper prototype. (LP: #1195874)
  * Protect against invalid begin or end dates. (LP: #1216263)

  [ Ubuntu daily release ]
  * Automatic snapshot from revision 256
