From the attached dmesg, the kernel dumps are "divide error" (line 928 and 962). May this be a hardware issue?

Not sure it's a hardware problem or not, both XT3 can reproduce this bug.

It's the N-trig driver which triggers this issue. In show_min_height(), something divides by nd->sensor_logical_height, but the nd->sensor_logical_height is 0.

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel for Precise in -proposed solves the problem (3.2.0-33.52). Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-precise' to 'verification-done-precise'.

If verification is not done by one week from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.
