The errno(1) utility is a useful resource to users and developers when trying to track down an error number/name/description. See:

It depends on headers="/usr/include/asm-generic/errno*.h", so the tool is somewhat kernel related.

Currently, errno is in the ubuntu-dev-tools package, but the maintainer of that package unfortunately doesn't want it there.

Talking to apw in IRC, he suggested that the linux-tools package might be able to take it over. That would be great. Assigning this bug to apw, as he requested. Let me know what you need, Andy.
