cannot insert song from play queue into playlist

When I drag a song from the "Play Queue" item to some playlist item, nothing happens. I would expect the song to appear in the playlist, as it is the case when I drag a song from the "Music" item into a playlist.

I just discovered that the play queue cannot be shuffled. It stroke me as very odd -- why should I not be able to shuffle my play queue?? (Any answers? Of course not!). But, what the hell, if they won't let me shuffle my play queue, so I will just create a play list from my play queue, and this will be able to be shuffled. Well, good thought, but... there's simply no F*ING way top put all songs from my play queue into a play list.

Is this a joke?

If so, please stop joking, and start creating a useful player.

If this is honestly what you think a player should behave -- get lost. It's ridiculous.

Banshee is useful as it is, with loads of features that other players do not
have. Please stop thinking that your (edge) use-case is the only use-case a
media player should support, and that it is useless if it doesn't support it.

In the first place, as I explained in Bug #1094953, you were obviously confused
about the role of a play queue in the media player when you clearly needed a
playlist, and that there *is* a shuffle button in the play queue that randomizes
the order of the play queue.
