Yes, the problem before was mostly caused by the Splash screen that confused bamf due to a bug.
Anyway, lenooh:
In Precise the bug is not fixed since the package misses some patches that are actually in trunk (I figure).
You need to use the packages from the unity-team staging ppa to get the fixed version. I had to improve the previous work, since libreoffice desktop files changed slightly with last updates (as now libreoffice needs to dashes to launch its tools [i.e. libreoffice -writer vs libreoffice --writer :)]).
