This has nothing to do with Splits not working. It works fine.
You should never use Speed below 19 or 18 on weapons. They will automatically fall to the ground when fired. TS is stupid (YR too) and hardcodes cluster speed to 19. Same for all weapons ROT=0 projectiles. Westwood could as well completely remove the speed value on those and they would still work.
