Just to explain myself: In case it were an advertising slogan (which apparently it isn't), adding an article makes it sound better. Adding 'the' would show the uniqueness of ANoise.

If it should use the long name (Ambient Noise Player, as you say), and it currently doesn't (it uses 2/3 of the long name), then that's a 'bug', right?
