Thanks for your feedback Glotzbach :) But I'm afraid that I'll not change those points. As resume it could be:
Long name: Ambient Noise Player
Short name: ANoise

I think that is right to use both of them :)
Why "An"? I'm talking about ANoise, I'm not talking about other players :)

I need a short title for a small window :$ Then I'm getting the short name.

The sound indicator should to use the long name as "VLC media player". The entry launcher will be the same.
