I presume I am running your version, as uname -a gives:
Linux Daisy 3.2.0-24-generic #38 SMP Wed May 16 20:28:26 CST 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

There is one change: "xinput --list" now displays the touch-screen, whereas before it did not.

However, the touch-screen still does not work. It does show as enabled with "xinput --list-props", so I do not know what may still be the problem.
