My experience is that both the eGalax touchscreen as used by the Dell Duo (with eGalax daemon driver installed), and the Quanta touchscreen as used by the Dell 2310, work as single touch devices using the patches discussed above and implemented in kernel 3.2.0-24.37 & 3.2.0-24.38, and that these patches are neccessary for this to be the case. However as I neither raised the bug nor fixed it I am uncertain as to whether I should edit the tag as requested in post #56, but I don't want these patches dropped..
