Comment 11 for bug 913164

Just something to think about, touchscreen input is supposedly handled in "modern" kernels using the module hid-multitouch. Said module supposedly supports the eGalaxis touchscreen, but it just doesn't work. Has anyone tried looking at the documentation for hid-multitouch to see just where its messing up, and maybe creating a package to resolve these issues?
