Happy to help with any janitorial work here, would appreciate guidance on a strategy that would be least disruptive to active ztk devs. The issue should likely be linked to individual projects and pushed one at a time, at a minimum, I'd say. It has nothing to do with actual compatibility or stability, so the main goal would likely be to minimize the amount of merges necessary for works in progress. It obviously doesn't make sense to delay any useful features or improvements based on what is at worst a minor, if pervasive, nuisance.
