This is true, and a very convienent method, but what happens when you need to go the other way around?

Say you start in your notes, rather than the text, and you want to jump to the point in the text that links to the note. You would be back in the situation of having to have a separate link and anchor in the text, as well in the notes, to allow this bi-directional movement when using the back botton isn't an option or when page back links are numerous and inconvienent.

Being able to add an anchor to the displayed text portion of a link would simplify this, from a work-flow and usability stand point.
