Bug Description

Hello
I was updating Y PPA Manager to the latest version and when I open Manage PPA, my CPU is overloaded at 100% at one core. I check this on 2 computers and it is same.
I am using Xubuntu 11.10 64 bits, C2D E6300, 2GB RAM.

I have added screenshot which shows it :)

Hello,

Thanks for the report. Did you perform any action or just start Y PPA Manager? Unfortunately, since Y PPA Manager uses YAD: http://code.google.com/p/yad/ for the GUI, this isn't a bug I can fix. Further more, I can't reproduce it. Though I'm not using Xubuntu, I'll try in VirtualBox, maybe there's something related to it somehow.

Well, I was able to reproduce it, I'm trying to figure it out.

I've submitted a bug report for YAD, I've noticed this only occurs when you don't run it from the terminal. When running it from the terminal, it doesnt occur, that's why I didn't see it. Also, it seems to only occur in lists and when it does, a ghost empty line shows up when sorting the list (which doesn't show up when running it from the terminal). Here's my bug report : http://code.google.com/p/yad/issues/detail?id=148&sort=-id

I hope it will be fixed soon :)

I hope to fix this fast because of stable release of Xubuntu 12.10 :)

This hasn't been fixed in YAD yet, but I've added a patch to the current YAD version that has worked in my tests, so I'm marking this as fixed.

Just upgrade YAD to the latest version from the Y PPA Manager PPA and try it out.

Thanks for the bug report!
