Please show me the command line you call with the text and or the text file etc (input)... also provide me with the actual output and I don't know anything about Cyrillic, so please show me what you expect to see. If you think screen shots would help you may want to attach some.

Hello Markus,

Thank you for the fast responce.
You could find some information about Cyrillic here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrillic_alphabet#Computer_encoding

Please find the text file attached

command line: :~$ xsublim --delayShow 100000 --file
/home/username/.xsublim --font lucidasans-bold-14

This is an example of correct showing of Cyrillic
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Cyrillic-italics-nonitalics.png

just one similar problem (it is not connected to me, it is only example)

Please try the xlsfonts command to see all the fonts you have on your system. Try some different fonts and see if this makes a difference.

the fonts shown with the command, there is difference, but non of the
fonts does not show Cirillic in readable way.

I found this on the web: http://www.math.utah.edu/~gustafso/howto.lynx.cyrillic.txt
I suggest to use fonts with koi in the name like: -cronyx-fixed-medium-r-normal--10-100-75-75-c-60-koi8-r
did you try a koi font yet?

I got it to show on my system: xsublim --delayShow 900000 --oneshot --file xsublim_test.txt --font -val-*-*-*-*--170-*-*-*-*-*-*-5
But I had to save your text file and change the encoding to ISO 8859-5 (I used the geany text editor to do this)

Thank you, I followed you and got it too, I choosen text file encoding
to koi8r and than used a font with koi8r in command line. The
affirmations are now readable. Thank you very much!

I guess you are missing the font, try the xfontsel command to see all the option you can have. Make sure to select a font that matches the encoding from your text file.
