The kernel patch alone does not fix the problem (see comment #31). I needed an intel driver that was using the "new" SNA paths in addition to the kernel patch for the problem to be solved. This is consistent with what you are reporting because Fedora 15's intel driver is not using the SNA path (the SNA path isn't on by default in the intel drivers). If you can get hold of SNA enabled drivers for Fedora 15 let me know as I'd like to test them too (at the moment I have to hand compile has issues with older xorgs)...

I admit I am baffled by the fact that you do not see the problem on Fedora 14 though. Perhaps you are using a different desktop in Fedora 15 to what you were using in 14?

Oh and does the workaround described in comment #19 make any difference to your problem?
