In my case, the problem appears on all encryption methods (unencrypted, WEP, WPA2) and on two differend APs. The more traffic I produce, the sooner the connection breaks up. On heavy usage, it dies after a few seconds.
I'm using Ubuntu Lucid and iwl3945.
