[sticky] Show on all workspaces stopped working

Linux Mint 19, new install, up-to-date as as 6 Oct 2018, Cinnamon 3.8.9, Linux 4.15.0-36.

Bug: "Show notes on all workspaces" in Xpad preference has no effect, i.e. notes visible only only on one workspace, disappear when switching to other workspace, irrespective of this setting.

My Xpad preference attached.

Used to work fine in Linux Mint 18.3.

Version 5.0 which is the latest version available in the ubuntu repos. I haven't found a PPA to get the current version. Also after a quick look through the bugs targeted in 5.1, there doesn't seem to be any obviously related to this bug.

The behavior has been reproduced with Xpad 5.2 and Lxqt.

In fact, I have been unable to reproduce the issue with Lxqt, however I did find another related bug.

If the 'show on all workspace' setting is changed, this change only reflects on new pads. This is not correct. Changing the settings should update all existing pads too.

Will fix this first, and then download Linux Mint 19 cinnamon to try to reproduce the issue.

Confirmed. In fact just by accident I discovered the same thing just today. New pads are ok, only existing pads don't respect the setting.

This fix will be part of Xpad 5.2

If you are able to build xpad by the source code, please let me know, if this solved the issue for you.
