This does not look like a security vulnerability bug and it is not a bug in ubuntuone-client.

Luiz, could you please collect additional information with the following command running on the machine experiencing this issue and it will automatically add the info about graphics subsystem to the bug report. The description of the actual problem you encounter (discrete/internal graphic switch not working, etc.) would be also helpful.
