1. Installed 10.04.4 Ubuntu with Wubi
2. Did all 10.04 updates
3. Upgraded by running "update-manager -d"
During the upgrade there were a number of errors. There were some popus with out any text (just empty boxes for each character in the message and the buttons). The upgrade reported issues with the initrd.img and a number of other things.

Upon reboot - the install hung. I removed `quiet splash vt.handoff=7' and booted okay. (Not sure if that was the reason it hung).

It booted into Ubuntu 12.04 (I'm typing this report from there) so in some sense it is successful.
