I think this explains a bit:

12-14 17:25 DEBUG WindowsBackend: modify_bootini F:
12-14 17:25 DEBUG WindowsBackend: Could not find boot.ini F:\boot.ini

For some reason it tried to locate boot.ini on the wrong drive.
