I finally got a Wubi install working! (Different hardware + fresh WinXP)
This is 10.04.1 and all went well. Since there were no updates to trigger a grub-update I ran the command "dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc" and after accepting the command line defaults I was presented with the typical debconf screen which showed only /dev/sda and it was NOT selected.
But then after accepting that I got a screen asking if I wanted to continue without installing grub. The default was NO!
Could a fix for this be as simple as changing the default to YES?
