Can someone experiencing the same issue please test using Wubi 8.04.1 rev 504+ (http://wubi-installer.org/devel/minefield/Wubi-8.04.1-rev504.exe) and a CD created from the latest daily ISO (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/hardy/daily-live/current/)?
