Comment 55 for bug 136682

Hello, I tested the lupin-support_0.17_all.deb with my Ubuntu installation(8.04) and it didn't work yet, I continue to not see files with accented characters. I give the following results:

ls -d /usr/lib/locale/fr_FR*
/usr/lib/locale/fr_FR.utf8

cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/root_locale
ROOT_LOCALE=fr_FR.utf8
export ROOT_LOCALE
export FSTYPE

and I joined the cpio listing. The "sudo update-initramfs -k all -u" doesn't work.
