It would be awesome if you would package Woof! There's a group of Woof-developers: https://launchpad.net/~woof which I'd love to see you join! This way, you can easily contribute to Woof.

I'd like to setup a PPA for this Woof-developers-team so we can put your .deb-packages there & distribute Woof to endusers.
